Trinamool Congress chief and state chief minister Mamata Banerjee has made some changes in party organization after the BJP’s excellent performance in the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal. Along with this, Banerjee has withdrawn several essential responsibilities from her nephew Abhishek Banerjee, who is considered number two in the party. Mamta has removed the command of all the districts from Abhishek, where the BJP has won. The party president has given this responsibility to other leaders. After a nearly hour-long meeting with all the candidates and senior leaders, Banerjee said that we had made many changes to the party organization. Despite giving good competition, additional candidates have been given to the losing candidates. Earlier Mamata Banerjee had said that I did not want to work continuously by staying in the CM’s post and I told the Trinamool Congress about this. I told my party that for six months I was not in a position to work. I was a powerless power. I can not accept it. I do not want to move forward as CM. This chair is nothing for me. The party’s signature is essential to me.
