Pakistan is preparing to recover 20 US Dollar (about 3127.37) from every devotee who visits Pakistan for the visit of Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib. There is a proposal to charge fees from every devotee. The Government of Pakistan hopes that after preparing the corridor of Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib, 7 to 10 thousand pilgrims arrive from different places every day to visit Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib.
Every incoming passenger will have to pay an entry tax at the entrance gate. Only then will he enter the Pakistani territory. It is being told that after filling the fees one-kilometer walk will be accessible from bus terminal through buses to Gurudwara Sahib.
The Sikh community has been demanding to open visas-free corridors for the past 70 years. For many decades, the views of Kartarpur Sahib were being carried out only through the telescope of the Sikh community. After the formation of prime minister Imran Khan’s government in Pakistan, the process of opening the corridor started, due to which the development works are being carried out on behalf of both the countries. source-EMS
