Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, who is involved in the construction of highways and expressways in the country, has said that in the next 5 years, the government is going to invest Rs 15 lakh crore on it. Nitin Gadkari has said that the government is focusing on creating a global level of infrastructure. The minister, who has taken steps like new motor vehicle laws, electronically toll collection, invite to raise funds, said, “Funds have never been and will not be a problem when it comes to highway or infrastructure construction.

” Gadkari said, “We have spent Rs 17 lakh crore jointly in the last five years in the highways and shipping sectors. In the coming 5 years, only Rs.15 lakh crore will be invested in the highway sector for the construction of global roads including 22 green expressways.
