The results of an environment designed for investment in Madhya Pradesh have started coming. A 27-hole world-class golf course co-resort and hotel will be built at village Ninod near Sanchi, a world famous tourist destination, at a cost of Rs 220 crore. Chief Minister Mr. Kamal Nath today handed over a letter of acceptance (letter of award) to Mr. Dorian Mullens, Chief Executive Officer of Wesley Group in the Ministry. Secretary Tourism Mr. Faiz Ahmed Kidwai was present on the occasion. The delegation of Wesley Group met Chief Minister Mr. Kamal Nath today. The Chief Minister said that the government will liberalize its policies and encourage employment oriented investment for new investment opportunities in the state.

He informed that in order to attract private investment in the tourism sector in Madhya Pradesh, the provision of ultra mega project has been added in 2019 by amending the Tourism Policy (2016). As a result, the Wesley Group had proposed the construction of a world-class golf course, hotel resort and convention center and helipades on 70.718 hectares in Ninod village. Chief Minister Mr. Kamal Nath has approved the proposal of Wesley Group and has given the Letter of Award to Wesley Group. This project will provide direct employment to 310 people. According to the provisions of the tourism policy, out of these 247 posts will be appointed to the original residents of Madhya Pradesh. The company’s partner CEO Wesley Group Mumbai Mr. Alok Tiwari, Mr. Takaddus Khan and Joint Director of Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Mr. Suresh Jharia were present on the occasion.
