The Rashtriya Swayam sevak Sangh (RSS) has expanded rapidly in the last eight years. The union has now reached 90 percent of the blocks in the country. The union has made this information public before the three-day All India Executive Board meeting in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, started on Wednesday. About one hundred provincial officers from all the provinces of the country are participating in this major meeting of the Union. Manmohan Vaidya, the Union’s Sah Sarkar yavah, said that in 6000 blocks across the country, that is the work of the union in 90 percent of the blocks. Students and youth branches constitute 60 percent of the branches running across the country. The percentage of branches of volunteers in the age group of 20 to 40 years is 29 percent. The numbers of branches of adult people above the age of 40 years are 11 percent. ”Manmohan Vaidya said that gathering crowds is easy, but it is difficult to gather people in the branch every day for regular years. But the union branches are constantly growing. The organization is expanding.
The union made public the information of branches before the meeting of All India Executive Board
He told through statistics that at present 57,411 daily branches are running all over the country. Where daily branches are not possible, there are weekly meetings. There are 18,923 weekly meetings. He said that in the year 2009 there was a plan to expand the union work. Due to this, branches have been continuously expanding since 2010. After 2010, there has been a total increase of 19 thousand 584 branches. From 2010 to 2014 there was an increase of about six thousand branches. In 2013, the Rashtriyac Swayam sevakSangh launched a scheme called Join RSS through the website. It has the highest number of youth and students. In the year 2013 itself, 88,843 requests were received to join the association. On an average 90 to 95 thousand requests have been received from 2014 to 2016, 1.25 lakh in 2017, 1.5 lakh in 2018 and 1.3 lakh requests by September in 2019 to join the association.
