Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that the country is going through a terrible recession today and all the investments in our country have stopped. GDP is at the lowest level. The Chief Minister said that all this is the result of inexperience and wrong economic policies of the Modi government at the Center. Shri Nath was addressing a discussion program with all the District President of Congress and PCC Delegate on the economic slowdown in Manas Bhawan today. The Chief Minister said that in nine months, we have done all the work giving serious results on every front and amid empty treasures. All of you are the people working in the field on behalf of the party. You can say that the work done by our government in nine months, the BJP government of fifteen years did not do the work. Mr. Nath said that in our historic debt waiver scheme, now we are going to forgive loans up to 2 lakh of current account after 50 thousand.
Chief Minister Nath said that on September 25, nine months of the Congress government will be completed. We got a chance to work for only six months. The Chief Minister said that in these six months, the government has taken important and historic decisions like debt waiver of farmers, doubling the amount of Kanyadaan Vivah and Nikah Scheme, doubling the pension, giving electricity, bonus on maize and wheat production. The Chief Minister said that the BJP governments of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra had also announced debt waiver, but till date this process is going on in Uttar Pradesh and elections in Maharashtra have come close yet farmers’ debt waiver has not been done yet. He said that all of you should know this fact so that you can tell people the reality. The Chief Minister said that there was a poor state of investment in the state. In these six-and-a-half months, the steps we took in the field of investment brought confidence back. Interest of investors has increased in Madhya Pradesh. We have made a sector-wise policy instead of an investment policy. The Chief Minister said that today we are giving 18 thousand crore subsidy in the field of electricity.
The Chief Minister said that today our state is struggling with floods, except Vindhya region, all the districts of the state have received more than 25 percent rainfall. Bhind, Morena, Mandsaur, Neemuch have suffered heavy losses. We will need more than 8 thousand crores in the coming days. We will also face this challenge.

The Chief Minister said that in the coming time, we have a challenge of the Panchayat and the urban body. All of you will have to gather from today for this Congress to be the flag of the Congress party.
The Chief Minister said that the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi is going to be celebrated on a large scale. We will start it from October 2 next month. It is our intention to make a program to celebrate Gandhi ji’s 150th birth anniversary at the level of organization too.
Taking a dig at the BJP for doing politics on floods, the Chief Minister said that if he has genuine sympathy for the victims, he should go to Delhi and get help from his government so that the flood victims can be given immediate relief. The Chief Minister said that the BJP is not interested in it, it only does T.V. and camera politics and they did it for fifteen years and still cannot recover from it.
