NPP MLA Tirong Abo and 11 other people have died in the militant attack in the state of Arunachal in the Northeast. In Baghpani village of Tirup district, militants attacked the NPP MLA’s house. According to reports, the militants attacked the MLA’s house in Tirang Abo, he first killed the MLA and then killed six members of his family. The security personnel, along with Abo’s family, were also killed in this attack. The suspected militant group, National Socialist Council of Nagaland, seems to be involved in this armed attack.
It is being told that the MLA Tarang Abo was returning from Assam to his assembly constituency. During this, there were two PSOs and four other people. At around 11.30 in the morning, as soon as his convoy reached Boghani, the militants started firing on their convoy. Meghalaya’s CM Conrad Sangma has expressed grief over this incident. He wrote that NPP is very surprised by the event and in the attack, we are unfortunate due to the news of the death of MLA Tricolor and his family. We strongly condemn this attack. Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Prime Minister’s Office demand strict action against the responsible people behind this attack. Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiran Rijiju also tweeted, “I am surprised and very unhappy with the tragic killing of 11 people, including the family of Arunachal Pradesh MLA Tricolong Aboh. Strict action will be taken against the attackers. ”
NPP legislator, Tirang Abo, is MLA from Khonsa-West constituency of Arunachal Pradesh. On the same incident, Chief Minister Comrade Sangma condemned the attack by Conrad Sangma, urging Home Minister Rajnath Singh to take action against the culprits.
