Chief Minister Haat Bazaar Clinic in 40 markets of Bastar

Scheme operated: treatment of more than eight thousand people

Mukhyamantri Haat Bazaar Clinic Scheme is being operated in 40 weekly haat-bazaars of Bastar district for the last three months. Physicians and paramedical staff are regularly visiting these weekly markets and treating the needy for free. Blood pressure, sugar, malaria, cycling, hemoglobin etc. are tested free of cost in these markets. Along with this, free medicines are also distributed to the patient on detection of the disease.

The Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district informed that patients are being examined and treated free of cost under the Mukhyamantri Haat Bazaar Clinic Scheme in 40 out of 45 weekly haat bazaars of the district. So far, 8 thousand 198 patients have been treated. He informed that 279 patients have been treated in 6 weekly hot markets of Bakavand development block, 2 thousand 609 in 5 weekly hot markets of Bastanar development block and one thousand 435 patients in 11 hot markets of Bastar development block. Similarly, 941 patients have been provided free in four weekly hot markets of Darbha development block, one thousand 874 in five hot markets of Lohundiguda development, 447 in four hot markets of Jagdalpur block and 613 in five hot markets of Tokapal block.
