The Dussehra festival will be held on October 8 in the grounds of DIG office premises. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner RakeshPrajapati after inspecting the venue on Friday said that the Dussehra festival is connected with public sentiments and the district administration is taking effective steps for organizing the Dussehra festival in which common public participation will be ensured.
He said that to make the Dussehra festival attractive, swings etc. will also be put in place along with proper arrangements for effigy burning. He said that a committee was constituted under the chairmanship of ADM, which includes ASP, SDM and ACTDC, to ensure allocation of shops and better arrangements for drinking water, electricity etc. in Dussehra festival. Along with this, a management committee of the members of the Dussehra Committee has also been formed regarding effigy burning.
During mannequin combustion, adequate management of security etc. will be done, caution and caution will be taken in effigy burning.
He said that it has been decided to complete the stall allocation process at the venue by October 1 and a time-limit has been fixed from October 5 to set up swings and shops. He said that special attention will also be taken to cleanliness during Dussehra festival and guidelines have also been given to arrange water tankers etc. for drinking water arrangements, as well as fire vehicles will also stand at the venue. He said that during mannequin combustion, adequate arrangements for safety etc. will be made; caution and caution will be taken in effigy burning.
