The harsh winter caused disruption in public life, while accidents also increased with road transport disruptions. Around 12 vehicles collided in Alwar, Rajasthan due to heavy fog. The accident occurred on Thursday morning near Dughera on National Highway-8. More than one and a half dozen people are said to have been injured in this accident. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. Currently, there is a long jam on the National Highway due to collision of trains. Bahrod police and administration officials are present on the occasion. Removal of damaged vehicles is in progress.

On Thursday, Malda-Delhi-Farakka Express four hours, Gaya-New Delhi Mahabodhi two and a half hours, Bhubaneswar Duronto Express two hours, Howrah-New Delhi Purva Express two hours, Rewa-Anand Vihar Rewa Express four hours, Azamgarh-Delhi Kaifiyat Express two hours , Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani is running five hours and Hyderabad-Nizamuddin Dakshin Express is running two hours late.
