Union Minister of State for Home Affairs GK Kishan Reddy said that it is India’s moral responsibility to give refuge and citizenship to Hindus and other minorities of Pakistan. These minorities have been persecuted constantly. Reddy said it is our moral responsibility to give citizenship to minorities. If they do not come to India, where will they go to Italy? He said that Italy will not accept Hindus and Sikhs because they are poor people. The minister said that the persistent persecution of Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and Jains in Pakistan has resulted in a substantial decline in their population.
Reddy said it is our moral responsibility to give citizenship to minorities.
It is India’s moral responsibility to provide shelter and citizenship to non-Muslims from three neighboring countries. The minister also claimed that former Congress president Rahul Gandhi did not know the difference between the CAA and GST and because of this he is saying that the GST will be increased after the recent change in the citizenship law. He said that I want to tell Rahul Gandhi that if he does not know the difference between CAA and GST then he should take tuition from a good teacher. The minister accused the opposition of doing petty politics and said that they were misleading people to provoke them to protest against the recent change in the citizenship law.
