It is known that a Muslim party filed a review petition on Monday against the Supreme Court’s decision in the Ram temple-Babri Masjid land dispute case in Ayodhya. The petition filed by Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind President Maulana Syed Asad Rashidi said that there were flaws in the decision to hand over the disputed 2.77 acres of land to Ramlala and to give 5 acres of land for the mosque elsewhere. The court had admitted that demolition of the mosque at the disputed site was wrong, yet the Hindu party was given the land. For complete justice, the Babri Masjid should have been ordered to be rebuilt. Speaking to the media after filing the petition, Maulana Syed Arshad Madni said that if the Supreme Court upholds its verdict on Ayodhya, Jamiat will accept it. At the same time, Muslim Personal Law Board Secretary Zafaryab Jilani said that AIMPLB will file a review petition before December 9 in this case.
