Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Saturday (7 December) that it has often been observed that inmates who are jailed when they are tasked with caring for cows, their criminal tendencies decline. He said that to show the world the characteristics of cow, it is necessary to bring such findings to everyone. Bhagwat was speaking at an award ceremony organized by the Go-Vigyan Revision Society dedicated to ‘Go Vigyan’ here. He said the cow is the mother of the universe. She also nurtures soil, animals, birds and humans. It also protects them from diseases. Bhagwat said that when the cowshed was made in the jail and the inmates started serving the cow, the authorities showed a decrease in the criminal instincts of those prisoners.

Sangh chief Bhagwat claimed that I am telling you this based on the experiences shared by some jail officials. He said that if the qualities of cows are to be brought before the world, then we have to make documents. We will have to conduct psychological experiments on the prisoners and review the changes that have taken place in them after Goseva for some time. Its results have to be collected from different places. Bhagwat said that the organizations that give shelter to cows roaming on holidays are getting short of space. Bhagwat said that if every person in the society decides to raise a cow, then this problem will be solved and the cow will avoid going to the abattoir. He said that although there are Hindus today, who are sending cows to slaughterhouses.
