India opener Rohit Sharma has joined Sourav Ganguly and Australia’s David Warner in the list of the most centuries in ODIs in a year. Rohit achieved this feat on Wednesday in the second ODI against the West Indies at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. This is Rohit’s total 28th ODI and seventh century of this year. Both Ganguly and Warner have scored seven centuries each in ODIs in a year.

Ganguly did this in 2000 and Warner in 2016. Sachin is at number one in the list of batsmen who have scored the most centuries in ODIs in a year. He scored nine centuries in 1998. Rohit scored 159 and his opening partner Lokesh Rahul scored 102 runs in this match. Both of them added 227 runs for the first wicket.
