Women's Football League will start in January

Indian Women’s League football will take place early next year and will run till May. According to the All India Football Federation, more than 100 clubs have shown interest to participate in the Indian Women’s League. ICG Chief Executive Sunando Dhar said that 108 clubs from 14 states want to play in the Indian Women’s League. He said that our goal is to increase the number of matches.

Also said that 20 teams will participate in the second level (second division) league. It will start in January and then run in May, with a break during the Santosh Trophy.
