India has expressed hope that an agreement will soon be reached between the two countries regarding the operation of the Kartarpur Corridor to be built between Pakistan and India. Along with this, India has also asked Pakistan not to impose a fee of $ 20 on Indian devotees. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said that after several rounds of talks between India and Pakistan on the Kartarpur corridor, it has been agreed in almost every case except the imposition of service charges on the devotees.

He hoped that it would be signed soon before the historic 550th festival of lights.
