International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman Shashank Manohar has said that he does not want to become the ICC president next time. Manohar said that his term is coming to an end in May-2020 and he will not pursue it. He does not want to expand it. Many want the former BCCI president to give a second chance to his tenure in the ICC, but Manohar does not want it. Shashank Manohar said, ‘I do not want another term of two years.

Many directors have asked me to continue in the post, but I have told them that I do not wish it. He said, ‘I have been the chairman for five years. My mind is clear, I do not want to continue in my post after June -2020. Who will be my successor, he will know in May. Shashank Manohar became the first chairman of the ICC in May 2016. In 2018, he was re-elected for a two-year term. While in ICC, he took many decisions which disappointed the BCCI.
