In view of the byelection in the 18 Dharamshala constituency, the micro observer was trained in the triple auditorium of the government college of Dharamshala. General Election Supervisor Laxmi Narayan Mishra, SDM and officials of the Election Department were present in it.
On this occasion, Returning Officer Harish Gajju told that during the polling for fair and independent elections, micro observers will be deployed at polling booths which will monitor the entire voting process.

He said that micro observers will also take care about necessary facilities in polling booths as per the guidelines of the Election Commission, besides keeping an eye on the voting process as per rules.
On this occasion, Micro Observer was also briefed about VPPAT and EVM. Earlier, Tehsildar Election Upendra Shukla provided details about the role of micro observer in the voting process and the guidelines of the Election Commission. Around 75 participants from various fields participated in this workshop. Out of these, 50 participants will be posted in the duty during the election process and 10 participants have been kept in reserve.
During this, he also inspected the counting hall and took stock of the work done there. It is worth noting that the polling will be held from 8 am to 5 pm on 21 October and counting of votes will be done on 24 October and the result will be declared on this day.
