Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries Welfare and Fisheries Development Lakhon Singh Yadav met the flood affected farmers in the villages Samarsa, Dantrada, Talavada, Jaini and Jawasa in the district in Sheopur. Mr. Yadav reached the fields and reviewed the damaged crops of paddy, urad, soyabean, sesame and millet. Basing the farmers, Mr. Yadav said that a full survey of the crops will be conducted on a war level through the district administration. The list prepared after the survey will be pasted at the gram panchayat building. He said that according to the list, appropriate compensation will be given to the farmers under RBC 4 (4).
The Minister in-charge heard the problems and difficulties of the villagers by placing a chaupal in the village Samarsa, situated on the banks of the Chambal River, on the border of Rajasthan. MLA Babu Jandel, former MLA Brijraj Singh Chauhan and other public representatives also saw the damaged houses and crops of the affected farmers.
