Former Mumbai fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has praised former Indian fast bowler Ashish Nehra and described him as the best man of all times. Akhtar has posted a video on his YouTube channel, in which he is talking with some of his peers. Meanwhile, Shoaib described Nehra as a good bowler as well as a good man. Praising Nehra, Akhtar said that he was always ready to help. Nehra has represented the Indian team for nearly two decades. In 2018, he retired from international cricket. Nehra, who made his debut in 1999, played 17 Tests, 120 ODIs and 26 T20 Internationals.

Nehra suffered an injury several times during his career. Akhtar then went on to say that Mohammad Yousuf was described as Pakistan’s most hearty player. Akhtar also praised the BCCI and said that PCB should also make a cricketer the board president. Akhtar had earlier revealed that leg spinner Danish Kaneria was discriminated against for being a Hindu. Due to which he was also involved in controversies.
