PM remembers Rajiv Gandhi’s death anniversary. PM Modi also paid tribute.

On the 28th death anniversary of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the whole country including the Congress family, have offered their memorabilia a humble tribute. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former President Pranab Mukherjee, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi have remembered Rajiv Gandhi. PM Modi tweeted a tribute to old PM Rajiv Gandhi. PM Modi pays tribute to former PM Rajiv Gandhi on death anniversary In addition to PM Modi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi. Manmohan Singh offered Rajiv Gandhi’s Samadhi tribute by visiting the Veer Land in Delhi. Former President Pranab Mukherjee also reached here and remembered Rajiv Gandhi.
Besides the former PM and the former President, the Congress family also reached Raja Gandhi’s memorial to remember him. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi while remembering him. Meanwhile, Priyanka’s husband, Robert Vadra and her children were also present along with the entire Gandhi family. Apart from the Gandhi family, all the Congress leaders and workers also converged on the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi and remembered him. Several MPs, senior leaders and party workers including former Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Casey Venugopal, AK Antony, Anand Sharma, Sheela Dikshit and Bhupinder Singh Hooda paid homage and flowers on the 28th anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on the Veer Land. Let us say that Rajiv Gandhi was killed in a suicide bomb attack in Sriperumbudur of Tamil Nadu. This attack occurred on May 21, 1991. The LTTE organization carried out this attack.
