Public Relations Minister P.C. Sharma inaugurated the health camp organized by the Guru Nanak Charitable Medical Center at the Gurdwara campus at Jawahar Chowk today. He said that Sikh society has contributed significantly in the field of service and courage. Minister Shri Sharma informed that the State Government has started the Mohalla Clinic Scheme with the intention of providing better medical care to every person of the state.
Chief Minister Mr. Kamal Nath has started the scheme on Saturday from Nipaniyan village in Indore district.
In this scheme Sanjeevani clinics are being opened in rural and poor settlements located far from health centers. Shri Sharma informed that people will get free medical consultation, various medical tests and life-saving medicines in these clinics. These clinics will be open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm daily. Public Relations Minister honored the physicians for excellent service work in the program. Mr. JPS Arora, Mr. Vinod Jhalawadia, Mr. Mehanga Singh, Mr. Dheer Singh and Mr. Gurcharan Arora were present on the occasion.
