Internet ban in the district continues for the fifth day on Friday. Business and banking services have been affected by this. In view of the gathering of people in the prayers, strict vigil is being taken. Significantly, there were protests in several areas of the city after the violence erupted at Aligarh Muslim University last Sunday in protest against the revised citizenship law. Thereafter, minor protests were held at many places in the district.
