Shirdi-based Saibaba earned Rs 689.43 crore in 2018-19, compared to Rs 431 crore in 2017-18. However, spending also increased in the same proportion. Shirdi is about 236 km from Mumbai. Here people come not only from Maharashtra but from all over the country and the world to visit Saibaba. According to the report, as on 31 March 2019, the institute had an income of Rs 689.43 crore.

In this, devotees made the highest donation in the donation box. From 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019, devotees deposited 170.09 crore rupees in donation boxes. The institute received Rs 151 crore as interest from the money invested, while Rs 95.46 crore was received in slip donations. The institution received Rs 72.71 crore from the food donation fund and Rs 47.70 crore from the laddoo sale. However, Rs 76.24 crore was spent in making laddus.
