A blood donation camp was organized on behalf of Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha Gandhinagar and Rotary Club Basti Mid Town on the occasion of 550th Prakash Parv of the great saint Guru Nanak Dev Ji. A total of 34 people donated blood.
Inaugurating the blood donation camp, Uttar Pradesh Eastern Development Board, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State, Narendra Singh said that blood donation is Mahadan. With this effort we can save the life of others. This kind of initiative on the light festival of Gurunanakdev is commendable.
Sardar Prabhu Preet Singh of Gurdwara Guru Singh Sabha said that the message that Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave to the suffering humanity in his time period will be effective in every era. He considered service work to be supreme. Those who have donated blood on their light festival, this is a big message for humanity.
Rotary Club President Ashish Kumar Srivastava said that mutual love, brotherhood, service is also the purpose of Rotary. With the light festival of Gurudev, we all bring compassion, love and sacrifice to life. Rotarian Dr. Ashwini Kumar Singh said that the importance of Prakash Parv has increased with such an event. Gurudev gave the message of mutual cooperation. Rotaryan Mayank Srivastava while conducting the operation highlighted the importance of blood donation.

Those who donated blood included Sardar Kulwinder Singh, Ajit Pal Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Amandeep Singh, Prabhjot Singh, Chandrajit Singh, Gaurav, Manmeet Kaurav, Anmol Kaur, Iqbal Kaur, Harjas Singh, Libli Singh, Rishabraj, Vivek Verma, Dr. Ajit Kumar 34 people including Srivastava, Anand Goyal, Manish Dubey donated blood by offering Shish at the Guru feet. Dr. Deepak Srivastava, Kirti Anand, Anuradha Singh, Gyan Prakash as well as HDFC Bank etc. of District Hospital contributed.
Giani Pradeep Singh of Gurdwara presented the chief guest with a picture of organ cloth, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The program mainly features Satyendranath Matwala, Manmohan Srivastava Kazu, Jishan Haider Rizvi, Kuldeep Singh, Ashish Shrivastava, Afzal, Mo. Along with Suleman, people from different sections, social organizations were present.
