The first private train in the country, ‘Tejas’ is important news for the passengers traveling. At present, passengers are compensated when Tejas is late. But now there are reports that due to the fog of the train in winter, passengers will not get compensation. According to the IRCTC, the fog would be considered the Act of God. However, no decision has been taken yet. Let us tell you that Tejas Express was late on October 19. That day the train reached the destination with a delay of three hours. Due to the late arrival of the train, the passengers were compensated 1.62 lakh.

According to IRCTC rules, passengers are paid Rs 100 and Rs 250 for delays of two hours or more if Tejas is late for an hour and more. It is known that the Tejas Express is the first such train in the country, on which the passengers get compensation when they are late. Significantly, Tejas Express is being run between New Delhi to Lucknow. The Railways has given the responsibility to run this train to IRCTC. This train has provided many such facilities which are given for the first time in Indian Railways. It has executive and chair class bogies.
