Chief Minister Mr. Nath said this on the occasion of Bhumi Pujan ceremony of the hospital, super specialty and cardiac center affiliated to Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences. Kamal Nath further said that earlier the patients of the district had to go to Nagpur for treatment, but at present the conditions have changed. Now patients from Nagpur will come to Chhindwara for treatment. He said that about 5 years ago I dreamed of a medical college in Chhindwara and it is a matter of great pleasure that this dream is going to come true now.
Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the works of one thousand 700 crores.
After reaching here, he has prepared a plan to make model jail for Chhindwara district as well as to make the jail of the district morden and to take it down on the ground. While giving the gift of the hospital in Chhindwara this morning, Chief Minister Kamal Nath told the media that there was a need for a good hospital in Chhindwara. The surrounding districts were also required to have a hospital with a medical college so that people of Chhindwara Seoni, Betul district who have to go to Nagpur for treatment, do not need it. He came to Chhindwara for his treatment. In order to hand over the gift to Chhindwara, Kamal Nath stayed in the city for about 3 hours. During this period, the 1200-bed superspeciality in the medical college, including the cardiac center of 200 beds, did the Bhoomi Pujan of the new jail to be built in Arjunwadi.
Along with this, he also inaugurated the Priyadarshini Memorial and Indira post built by the Municipal Corporation at the jail intersection. On this occasion, Chief Minister Kamal Nath was accompanied by Nakul Nath, MP from Chhindwara. Apart from him, 6 ministers of the state government were also present on the occasion, among them, the Home Minister’s word Public Works Minister Sajjan Verma, Medical Education Minister Vijayalakshmi Sadho, Public Health Engineering and Minister in charge Sukhdev Panse, Social Welfare Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria, Agriculture Minister Harsh Yadav . Apart from this, many senior Congress leaders and social workers of Chhindwara district were present.
