Preparation from social media to the ground
In order to stop rumors going viral on WhatsApp, Twitter and Facebook in particular, the Delhi Police has made concrete arrangements. Internet services have been stopped for 24 hours as a precautionary measure in Ghaziabad adjoining Delhi and some areas of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Internet services have been stopped in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Aligarh districts. Internet services will be common in these areas only after the environment improves.
