South African spinner Tabrez Shamsi believes that T20 is a format of batsmen in which bowlers like him spoil the fun of the on-field spectators. I mean this is a T20 series, so people definitely want to see the batsmen here hitting fours and sixes. T20 is such a cricket format. People are not there to see you throwing a maiden over in the field. The wrist spinner took one wicket for 19 runs in three overs during the second T20 International against India at Mohali. Shamsi has played 17 ODIs and 15 T20 Internationals for South Africa.
The third and final T20 with India will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Sunday.
He said that I think this puts more pressure on the batsmen to go to the field and do what the people want to see. Therefore, as bowlers, we are just to enjoy the spectators and also to decide that we can implement our plan well. The third and final T20 along with India will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Sunday. Shamsi said that Chinnaswamy is a small stadium and I mean it is a T20 series so people will definitely come here to see the batsmen hit fours and sixes.
