Young batsman Shubman Gill has achieved a new feat by playing for India C in the finals of the 47th Deodhar Trophy cricket tournament. During this, Shubman broke a 10-year-old record of Team India captain Virat Kohli. Virat took the captaincy of North Zone in the finals of Deodhar Trophy in 2009-10, when he was 21 years, 142 days old. At the age of 20 years and 57 days, Shubman captained his team in the final of Deodhar Trophy. In this match, Mohammad Siraj dismissed Shubman Gill on a personal score of only 1 run. Shubman was also included in Team India for the 3-match Test series to South Africa. He made his ODI debut against New Zealand in January this year.
